Hey there!! Thanks for checking us out. I'm Sara Walton, creator of ChicBoxing. Please take a moment to scroll down and meet the other instructors of ChicBoxing.
So, why did I start ChicBoxing you may ask? Well, here is only part of the list of reasons....
Reason #1. For the last 8 years, I have been working with both men and women to help improve their lives through exercise and nutrition. With a BSc in Nutrition and Nutraceuticals, this has been the focus of my life since graduating university. I am passionate about helping others understand the benefits of exercise and eating well.
Reason #2. I know that working with both a Trainer AND in a Group atmosphere is the BEST way to see results. It is proven that you should receive 80% better results when you workout with a trainer. I have been blessed and determined to combine the best of both Personal Training and Group Fitness into amazing, fun, kick butt classes where those that join will experience RESULTS firsthand.
Reason #3. Fitness Kickboxing is the Ultimate workout to get the body you dream of while having an absolute blast!! You don't need to be co-ordinated to do the workouts which is a huge bonus, you can burn off enormous amounts of stress while punching focus pads AND you get an amazing core workout (aka... abs)!
Reason #4. I wanted to deliver a quality class while keeping the cost low. Working with a Personal Trainer will cost anywhere from $50-$125 for one hour and we all know how much gym memberships drain our bank account even if we don't go! ChicBoxing makes sure that both YOU and your wallet are happy!!
Reason #5. My friends and family have all seen the benefits that fitness has had on me, things like weight loss, muscle tone and a happier outlook on life, and this has made me want to share all of this with YOU.

Nicole "The Energizer" Fennell

Hi ladies!
I'm the Mid-town Coach and my name is Nicole but some would refer to me
as the Energizer Bunny - I just keep going and going! I've been passionate
about health and wellness for over 10 years. I love how energized and
happy I feel when being physically active and eating well.
During the day I am a Category Manager at the Canadian Tire head office
but have worked or volunteered in the health and fitness field for many
years. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and have my Black Belt in Karate.
I have been doing fitness boxing for 7 years and love the strength and
power it provides.
I see exercise as a form of self-respect. Your body is really great! If
you look after yourself, you can achieve a fitness and health level that
can surprise you. Most of the limitations we put on ourselves are self-imposed!
My goal is to inspire you to make fitness a priority and set the bar high
in your life. I want to help you live a healthy, happy life!

Hi Everyone,
I'll be teaching you how to punch and kick your way to good health in
North York!
I am a Human Resources Manager by day and love the training and development
aspect of my job. When I train, whether it is in a boardroom or in a park,
it is rewarding for me to see people through their development and journey
from day one to the end results. This is the best part about being a teacher.
Within the past 10 years, I became an avid dragon boat racer, completed
a couple of half-marathons, and played various sports. This included Ultimate
Frisbee, something that I always wanted to try. My motto in life is to
always try something at least once. If you haven’t tried fitness kickboxing
before, try it – you will truly love it!
I took my first fitness kickboxing class 15 years ago and loved it ever
since! Fitness kickboxing with focus pads provides you with practical
self-defense skills, strength training, balance, flexibility and a great
cardio workout!
I want to empower you with the skills, confidence and strength fitness
kickboxing offers.

Hi ladies!
I'm very excited to be part of the ChicBoxing Team and to be your coach at the downtown location!
I recently moved to Toronto from Regina, Saskatchewan to work for the pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review where I am the program analyst & coordinator.
Prior to moving to Toronto, I worked at the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health for 13 years. In addition to my day-time career, I also worked at a Ladies Fitness Centre for about 6 years as a fitness instructor, teaching a wide-variety of classes including a class with a boxing component, which was one of my favourite classes to teach. In the past couple of years, I have also been self-employed as a personal trainer.
I am passionate about my role as a fitness leader in the community. My own personal experience with fitness, as well as my work experience in the healthcare system, has taught me the importance of developing and maintaining a healthy, active and balanced lifestyle.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge and having fun with you, while helping you achieve your fitness goals!

Hi Ladies,
I hope you are ready to see some serious results with your Chicboxing training. You’ll see a change in your body, your attitude and your energy level!
Health and fitness has always played an important role in my life. A long-time runner, I have completed 8 Half Marathons and was a varsity sprinter. I have a competitive swimming background and recreationally enjoy mountain biking, snowshoeing, snowboarding and could be convinced to try just about anything else!
Over the years I have taught and coached athletes of various levels in a variety of sports. I’ve coached track teams to Ontario championships. I’ve taught people how to swim. I’ve lead couch potatoes through the miles to finish 5, 10 and 21km races! It’s in my nature to help people bring out the best in themselves in an athletic fashion.
Whether you want to tone your butt, sculpt your arms, burn off some stress or just meet some new ladies and have fun, we’ll do it at Chicboxing!

Hi Everyone!
I`d like to take a moment to tell you all a bit about myself! Although I work full time as a Dental Assistant my true passion is Health and Fitness.
I fell for fitness when I was pushed to my limits as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and although I am no longer in the military I have learned how to push others to reach and achieve goals they never thought were attainable.
As a personal trainer and nutrition and wellness specialist through Can Fit Pro for the last 10 years I have helped people transform their lives one step, punch, or kick at a time. I've watched hundreds of pounds melt away to reveal inspirational, confident individuals.
It was my clients who actually motivated me to take personal training to the next level which lead me to becoming a Life Coach. I love helping people and recognize being healthy comes from the inside! I'm proud to have witnessed people become their best and have enjoyed working in different gyms and recreation centers personal training everyone from young teens to eighty years old's!.
I believe there is a level of fitness for everyone with every life style. It's my job to find the right fit for you!

Do you feel stressed? Did you know that increased stress in your life may be the number one reason you have Belly Fat? If you feel stress levels building up try to relax, breath deeply to bring your respiration back to normal. Focus on something that you love or something that you find relaxing such as the sunsetting or laying on a beach listening to the waves crash on the shore. Better yet, go for a walk around the block, hop on a treadmill or come to your local ChicBoxing Class and throw a few punches to blow off some steam :-)
